If you get knocked out of the ring in boxing, are you automatically TKO'd?
What if you manage to climb back in and stand up before the ref counts 10? Is it an automatic disqualification?
No. On 11-06-99 Hasim Rahman was knocked out of the ring by Oleg Maskaev, Rahman fell between the ropes and landed on the table that the HBO commentators were broadcasting from. When a fighter is knocked completely out of the ring the fighter is given a 20 count before the fight is stopped. I hope this helps.
